It occurs to me that the X-Men are a little low on fighting-capable mutants at the moment.
Which is a bit of a problem seeing as we're about to get ourselves into a big-ass battle with about a billion different people that want us dead.
If you've had an established X-Man rattling around your head for a while, I urge you to apply with him or her right now. We could really use the help! ; )

Nah, we're not low! We've got just as many as in the movies/comics.
Storm, Wolverine, IceMan, Collossus, Forge, Nightcrawler, and Shadowcat. Maybe even Gambit or blast-mouth, who's name I can't remember for some reason.
7 X-Men is a veritable comic book team. Works just fine, considering what the Brotherhood has:
Pyro, Mystique, Emma Frost, Juggernaut, Jane the Plant-girl, Dead-Man, and Python: Seven. Though I think Mystique and Emma may not actually be there, so I'm unsure.

You'll also have Conduit and Chamber, but I can't bring them in right this second because you guys are RPing at the pace of slugs! Y'all haven't had a chance to 'meet' yet, it would be lame to brin gin all sorts of shite.

For the BH, you missed Aurora and Nightingale, who are waiting in Baltimore. And I can tell you Emma will participate in the brawl. Through a few others of her choosing, which will no doubt make things all the more high-stakes.  And Gambit is in San Francisco. I seriously doubt he can even make it to the school in time to go to Baltimore with them, especially with the vague plans made there. On an mostly unrelated note...Why don't they just make cures that last for like a few hours? Long enough to apprehend the criminals and get them locked up. It'd be sweet to have Bobby just sink one of those into John's chest. Sick, but sweet. |

That's actually really funny you mentioned that, because that's one of the main reasons Forge wants to get there. Simply to create a temporary "cure".
In the comics he had a gun that could take away your powers for a brief time - what better way to rep that here?

So Storm, looking at the numbers, I think you're right. We have enough X-Men, but not all of them will be joining us in time for the big fight.
If we had Gambit and Chamber, it'd be fair as fair can be... as of now, though, it'll be a bit of a handicap match. Oh well, not that big of a deal actually, as the Sentinels will even things up into a big soupey chaos.

Foolish mortals! You think I have no plans for keeping mutants contained once they have been caught? Bwaaahahahahahahaha!! I'm working on the idea that cure guns, even temporary ones are a big no-no with the bill of mutant rights in the works. El Pres needs to present a united front and popping darts "that will ony break them for awhile" is a wee bit on the mutant-unfriendly side. I have ways though ... oh yes!  |

Well, I thought Shadowcat wasn't going to come along. Which would leave us with six. Then again, Nightcrawler's right, and this time our six are better fighters then last time - but then AGAIN, we were on the side of the freaking army at Alcatraz!
Sooooooo I thought it wouldn't hurt to encourage anyone who had an X-Man in mind... ; )
Maybe we should convince Kitty to come along, and maybe... *headscratch* I wonder if Animaux would want to/be able to. I guess that's my call, *lol*.

Kitty could probably be convinced. Sam would go along, too, but be mostly useless, except as a medic or unless someone upset her enough to blast the universe.

Aw, I'd feel bad dragging him into battle.
Has he been around long enough to have any training? I figure him at about the same level as Cal, which is partly-trained but still really an amateur. I'd rather have them both sit this one out, truthfully, but I don't want the X-Men to get kicked to the curb...

*shrugs* He's had some training and about 6 years practical survival experience, including fending off and feeding from whatever animals were in the wild.

Haha, yeah, me too with Cal.
Thought: I doubt the X-Men would let them along as full members of the team, but they could do like Iceman/Rogue(/Pyro) at Alkali Lake and guard the team's temporary base - the chopper, for instance.

JUST MAKE SURE WHO'S SIDE YOU'RE GOING TO HELP! Cause Bobby is perfectly capable of holding eternal grudges against two people. And plus the male student population of Xavier's is running thin as it is.
Which I (Bobs-mun) don't mind. Leaves all the more for me.
