Logging:
Honestly, I don't see a problem with logging in a normal, one person on one person scenario. There's absolutely no harm in logging interpersonal RP, as it doesn't hinder anyone. THOUGH, I do agree that in the Baltimore-style situation, logging did weigh down the game a tad, but I agree with Kaybo, it was because of Katie's absence.
Note that bubbling will often prevent logging from being necessary. One of reasons we log is because our characters are currently tied up. Though again, some people log because they don't have access to the board, and it's definitely unfair for them to not be allowed to log.
Plotlines:
Baltimore was GRAND, and I'd like to see something like it again, but coordinating that sucker now, with as many characters as we have, would be insane. Granted, a lot of us are dropping some characters, so I'm sure it'd be lessened a bit. I was going to start delivering (this idea has been in the works for a while) mini-plot points for the X-Men, little cases and missions that get requested of them by mutants around the world. People they have to go help out, etc. But we all know that the biggest, most fun plots, are X-Men vs. Brotherhood.
The problem with that is that in the comics, and in the movies, it's very central to have the BH move first. The plot is generally Magneto deciding to do something, and the X-Men responding to it. I'm all for admin/pyro/magneto discussions about what the next big plot we can pull for them is, that would bring in the X-Men and cause an awesome confrontation.
The Sombra plot has been thrown out there, and is currently going to give 3-4 X-Men something to do, and most of the BH something to do. When it's wrapped up, I've got a plot that will affect all of Genosha that involves Dead Man in the works.
OH! I was also considering bringing back Professor X. As a PC, as in applying for him. I'd make sure to follow the posting limits, posting at least once a week, and he'd primarily be there to enhance the story. I wouldn't have him come in and take control of the school again (unless part of Storm's getting back to her roots is not running the school) – and I'd dumb down his powers a lot, as a side affect to his body-transference. So he wouldn't be the all-powerful super telepath he was before, but he'd still be able to have clairvoyant style flashes and have a snubbed down version of Cerebro we could use for plot-device only. Thoughts on that? I think he'd be great for bringing in plot of all kinds, and more importantly, taking leadership decisions out of Forge's hands. If we're going to pull in players for our Movie!Verse game, we should at least have a familiar face (even if it's a different face) there making decisions and being on the forefront.
X-Verse:
I honestly don't have a problem with that. What's the difference between bringing in a character from outside the X-Verse and bringing in an OC? As long as we stick with the concept that to have mutant powers, you have to be a mutant, then we're shiny.
