Forge grinned and raised his eyebrows, a gesture that always happened whenever he thought discovery was in the air… unfortunately, it made him look truly goofy. It really let the dork out.
He spun a chair around quietly, and sat, folding his arms on the back of the chair (which was now facing front.) A student nearby glanced once at him, then did a double take at Forge’s leg, which when pressed against the fabric of his cargos definitely did not look normal. The kid didn’t seem to care too much, since he’d likely seen stranger thing at Xavier’s, and went back to his school work.
“Alright, now we’re talking.” He said, smiling at the girls. “And magic or no, willpower is definitely tied directly into at least 80% of all mutants’ powers. I know that by expanding my thought process in dealing with my powers, I’ve learned to do all sorts of things with them. I suppose the process can’t be too much different for your situation. You just need to get your body, and your powers, to adapt to this new set of conditions.”
He looked thoughtful for a minute, and then nodded to his sister. “Besides, this is a much better idea than what I was going to propose… which was to have Elixer try and grow you a second brain. So did you still want to go on the Vision Quest? I can only imagine it would help you find some answers… you know, being that I’m all behind the idea of the supernatural lately.”

Rayen nodded, smirking a bit at her brother's pure nerdery. "Yeah... yeah I think I should, it's what I was just mentioning to Neena, and I think it's a good way to begin. And out on the res, if we get a few miles away from the trailers, we won't be dealing with any electrical sources nearby. So... Lorna and I could experiment in an open environment."
SHe looked up at Bandero, and took the chance at mentioning something rather personal in front of Neena, who she barely knew. "I'm just a little afraid that I'll end up staying out there inevitably. It's what I did last time to cope with what happened back home with my friends. I can't waste another seven years, and I don't want to cocoon myself on the res. I'm sure Lorna doesn't either."

Forge nodded, thinking soberly for a moment. Then he looked up and gave his head a small shake. “Nah, I wouldn't worry about that. I'm not just going to leave you out there ya know... and I'm definitely not going to get stuck out there on the rez with you. I'd probably go apeshit, and start building giant mecha out of wood. Wouldn't be pretty.”
He smiled at her, the expression of big-brotherly protection creeping back onto his face. “and I'm not going to just let this go. You go out there, go on your quest, and find a way for you two to work together. Domino and I will be moral support. If that fails, we go with the two brains. If that fails, we search the globe for a mutant with a power to help... but yeah, definitely not going to leave you out on the reservation."
