Alani turned as Sam pushed past her back into the room
"Well, you can either feel safe with Liam out here or safe with me in the dorm. If it's safer in here, I'm going back to bed."
"Sam!" Alani said through her teeth. She rolled her eyes and turned back to Liam and Hannah and found Liam looking right at her. She stared at him, her mind and lips empty of words, until he looked down at the little student.
"Get you back to bed." he said to her.
"Yeah...I should go too," Alani said lowly. "We have school in the morning." She shut the door halfway, then looked back at the duo in the hall.
"Goodnight, guys."
