Mystique's eyebrows raised. She looked distinctly impressed. Of course to her, with too many years of espionage, speaking in code was as familiar to her as German.
The Dead Man rises again...
"Fabulous. Excellent." She laughed a bit, nodding.
"You've done alright here? I hope you weren't waiting long. It took us a little longer to get out of town than I thought it would." She looked around them a bit as Sy made his introduction to Aurora. "Did you get to see any of the city at all?"

Sy gave each girl a short bow and smile in turn, chuckling a bit when Angie excused herself from the handshake. He hadn't been offering. "No offense taken Nightengale, I have a feeling you would not want to shake mine either." He gave her a wink and a sly grin, tugging down on his long-sleeves before turning to the dark-haired girl. "Miss Aurora, what a beautiful name."
Introductions made, he settled back to listen to their conversations - appearantly someone from Baltimore had unexpectedly survived. The girls seemed a little apprehensive about the news, but Mystique was happy enough. In fact, the girls seems slightly apprehensive about the entire situation, and Sy could only hope they would feel more at ease when they left the park and headed for home. If they were all going to act this way it wouldn't be worth it.

Python watched the girls with a curious expression on his face. Sure they were going to be heavy one Mystique but what was the big deal really? Plans changed, in the Brotherhood things like that happened all the time, you just had to learn to roll with it.
No plan was ever flawless.
Heavy one Dead Man too if he'd heard the signals correctly. That would be interesting to see.
He nodded to Mystique and looked the new guy up and down.
He was cool, calm, confident and bald.
Cain clearly had competition.
"Good to see you again Miss Darkholme," Python said with a sly wink, "and Poseidon, lord of the seas, welcome to our merry band of n'er-do-wells."

Aurora watched the man's face as he spoke. He seemed very nice--he was definently cordial, at least.
"Miss Aurora, what a beautiful name."
The newcomer went up a few points in Aurora's book. She smiled widely, some of her anxiousness at meeting Mystique and the stranger dissapating. "Why, thank you," she said graciously. She had been expecting another grim and twisted man who looked in some way like he belonged in an asylum or a morgue. But Poseidon looked quite normal.
"We're very glad you decided to join us."
Aurora then turned her head slightly and laid her eyes on Mystique. The woman was as tough and harsh as Aurora was too hesitant to be. Despite the vigor and brash attitude she had had, Aurora still didn't want to make people feel like she was controlling them or knew better than them. This woman didn't care. Aurora admired that. "And you, too," she said with a smaller but still true smile. "Welcome back."

"Oh, yeah, we've been fine. We actually arrived yesterday, we were supposed to be meeting another friend yesterday and she never showed." Angie frowned as she recounted the story - it would be much easier to speak on the plane, where she wasn't worried about who was listening.
She was starting to relax more now that she'd gotten into her stride.
Aurora was obviously far more in her element than Angie. Then again, she seemed far more comfortable with the more... violent aspects of the Brotherhood than Angie as well, so perhaps it was to be expected. The young Australian was just... different to the rest of them.
"If you'd like to retire to more... comfortable surroundings anytime soon? I have to call our friend from Baltimore."
Taking her phone out of her handbag, she squinted over at the street where a McDonald's truck was parked and had apparently caused some kind of traffic issue as things were still flowing a bit oddly.
"We love to see you smile? Oh, ew." She muttered to herself as she read the slogan on the truck - not one that they'd had in Australia. She wondered if Dead Man had chosen that one specifically because of his sense of humour.
"Actually, I don't think we need to call him at all, I see him. I'm ready whenever you are." Spreading her hands in a rather random gesture, Angie looked from Python to Mystique and back to Python. Without a clear definition of leadership, she wasn't sure who to defer to.
Somehow, she also managed to keep a straight face, even though she wasn't looking forward to the idea of his truck o' zombies.

Mystique nodded, her smile fading a bit as business returned to the forefront of her mind. “What in the hell is that,” she said a little flatly. Looked at Python, who only grinned, she smiled a bit and shook her head.
“Yes, let’s get going.” She agreed. Mystique was not about to walk in and take things over. She never was; and that is what people mistook about her most often. Mystique needed a leader- not because she needed to be led; but because she had better things to do.
