Mystique's hand lingered on John's coat for an extra couple seconds, her impassive eyes watching him with an expression only he would catch. "I will call," she murmured, and turned as Aurora spoke.
Then it was time to go. She found herself not quite as ready to leave their little 24-hour holiday as she should have been. Slipping an arm around Aurora's waist in a way that was definitely not sisterly, she smiled a bit at the others.
"Travel safe," she said in her smooth voice, and turned with Aurora towards the exit.

He nodded politely to the Aurora (though he obviously did not know her by this name) “Good to hear. I'm sure we're looking forward to seeing more of you as well. Both of you.”
Was John getting it on with the two of them? Man, he HAD grown up. Being the ringleader for the most notorious terrorist group in the world had it's advantages...
Even if one had the sparkle in her eye that said any second now she could whip out an uzi and level the room, just out of pure crazy. The other had that look that said she wouldn't need the uzi – she could do it with a butterknife.
He looked forward to getting to know the ladies better later. Maybe swap a recipe or two with them – IF they were really German. He figured the butterknife one probably was. Then again, maybe she just had a mutant power that made her bad ass.
He stuffed his hands in his pockets, waiting to see what would happen next

Roy slowly closed his hand, realizing that no one was going to shake it. So... they're not German. He was familiar enough with a few Germans to know that they were practical, sensible and calmly polite.
Well, who knows what their skin may do? Perhaps it's a protective thing.
Nodding to the two attractive women as they left, he slowly took a deep breath, feeling his chest slowly expand in an attempt to calm himself. They'd been waiting for a bit, and his fingers were feeling tingly. He would have really preferred to be outside somewhere where he could be firing off into the sky, or even at a different target, but there were many, many people here who probably wouldn't appreciate him blowing the bottles off the shelves behind the cafe counter.
Sticking his hands in his jeans pockets, Roy smiled calmly, dropping the frenetic edge he'd been carrying with him since they'd arrived. "So, will you join us at the table, or shall we make our way to less... austere surroundings?"

"Actually," said John, as Mystique and Aurora made their apologies and left, "I have to meet one other person at a little bistro in town - Petrelli's. I'd appreciate you guys coming along too. If you know what I mean."
Python arched one eyebrow at him. The kid had said nothing about an extra meeting. "Johann?" he asked, questioningly.
"It's fine, Pyth...Steve," said John, with an easy smile. "If our friends here come with us, there is nothing to worry about it. An hour, tops, I promise you." He glanced at his watch. "We need to be there in half an hour. I'll even pay for all of you to order something to eat, but I would appreciate making this particular rendezvous by myself - with you sitting close by."
He tipped his head on one side. "Are you all prepared to leave? We do not intend to hang around here for very long."

“Packed and ready Johann.” Dom said easily, looking back at the others. “I can't imagine the bistro should give you too much grief with us along, no matter who you're meeting.”
He observed Steve for the first time, taking note of his gait. He was forced to wonder how many Brotherhood members there were... especially after Alcatraz, where dozens were reported killed in action. Mainly by the X-Men.
“We've got our stuff in the car, ready to vamoose whenever you are. I'm thinking nowish sounds good... shall we head straight over?”

"Sounds good to me," said John looking almost proudly around the little group. It was starting to happen. People were starting to join up to the cause, and not only that, but people he knew and trusted - and if Gracie and Dom trusted Lucas - which was an issue John was going to have to deal with later - and Roy, then it was all good by him.
"Petrelli's it is then," he said, cheerfully.
On that note, I'm going to post up the John/Kitty log, which'll give you guys a chance to wrap here if you want to add anything else, or to add your commentary once the J/K log is up. SMEWCH!
