Dharma took her hand and shook it once, holding it for a moment. He looked directly at her, and the expression gave off the same feeling one got when staring at a statue for too long- as if something unexplained were happening, or maybe, it was only you fooling yourself.
He broke the contact and nodded to Aurora. Looking around him, his eyes fell on the carton of eggs sitting beside the stove. He reached over and picked up an egg.
Holding it in the palm of his hand, he closed his eyes and nodded. The egg transformed into a pale green apple- though it was a quick change, watching still revealed how particles expanded, shifted, and took on a different quality.
"I will do well... Angie." He said the name carefully. Though his accent was faint, it still came out 'ann-chi'. "There is enough of the earth here that I will not need to have it supplied to me."
He looked at all three of his new aquaintances. "All matter of the earth, I can change. Rain to stone, stone to wood, wood to... apple." He smiled a bit, and curled the apple in his hand, admiring it for a moment before he sat back on his stool.
"Apple to chicken, if you wish, but I would not create animals for consumption."
Turning his attention back to Angie, he nodded. "A healer. It is good to know the Brotherhood has one."

As she took a bite of her french toast, Angie pondered exactly what had just happened. His refusal of food, and the declaration that he avoided eating sentient beings, had given the young Australian the impression that their newcomer was vegan. Perhaps he was only vegetarian, though, because Angie couldn't see how it was any different to eat an apple made out of an egg than the egg itself. Maybe there was a distinction there that she couldn't quite grasp, but she merely shrugged and swallowed before replying to his remark.
"I think I would be happier if I was not needed." She smiled at Aurora and Juggernaut. "But things don't always go perfectly." She was still regretting the inability to help Dead Man, but her mutation did not work unless there was a life-force attached to the body that she could work with.
"You have an amazing ability." She couldn't help but wonder why he had come to the Brotherhood, but didn't want to pry. She was intensely curious about what exactly he could do, and whether a created chicken would be the same as a normal chicken, but Dharma hadn't spoken very much since his arrival and Angie didn't really know how to express herself in philosophical pursuits. She couldn't help but think that Pyro might enjoy talking to him, though.
Returning to her toast, the young woman brought her attention away from their leader and back to the present. She wanted to speak, wanted to keep the conversation going, but felt a bit awkward around the tall newcomer, as though she was a child with no manners.

Aurora's eyebrows rose at the transformation the egg made. She watched it carefully as he spoke, half-expecting it to turn into a chicken as he mentioned the possibility. At Dharma's compliment of Angie, she nodded in agreement as she cut her Francais toast.
"I think I would be happier if I was not needed. But things don't always go perfectly."
"Yes, well, I would rather have not needed your help in the first place, but since I did, I sure appreciated your powers." Aurora smiled at Angie before turning to Dharma. "How rude of me--Like she said, I'm Aurora. Wish I could give you a last name. If she's the human medicine, I'm the human transport." She smiled as she thought back to transporting each member of the Brotherhood to the van in order to leave Baltimore. Especially the final trip with the Juggernaut. Pushing a six hundred pound man through the city streets.

The six hundred pound man grinned through a mouthful of toast. "That's a pretty 'andy trick mate," he said to Dharma, "I'd never 'ave to worry about runnin' out of beer again!"
He could see why Pyro wanted to keep this guy around. The Brotherhood certainly wouldn't want for supplies.
Of course, raw chicken and apples wasn't any match for Angie's cooking. Not by a long shot.
Cain grabbed another slice of French toast and devoured it noisily. "It's good this," he commented, "don't seem very French though, ain't got any onions in it or anythin'."
He turned to Aurora, "no offense."
"If you want to get some rest now you can go an pick yourself out a room, or ya can 'ang around 'ere for a bit, or get a feel for the place. Like I said, Pyro ain't gonna be around for a bit."

Dharma nodded at Juggernaut's offer. "I'll be doing that."
He looked to Aurora, setting the apple down. He wasn't about to eat something that had been made from an animal. Neither was he prone to explaining himself.
"You levitate?"

Aurora picked an orange from among the fruit and dug a nail into it to peel it as she shook her head in response to Dharma's question of levitation. "No. I think the root of my power is to direct the kinetic energy of my molecules. I move at high speeds, both across land and through the air."
As far as she knew, this was the extent of her powers, so she piled the pieces of the peel on the counter, to toss in the trash later, and fell silent. As she pulled apart the orange slices, she mused over her abilities, inwardly proud of her abilities.

Dharma nodded to all, and stood. "I will go find my bags at the dock." Nodding again, he made his way out the door.
