Dead Man watched her with a curious smile on his face. Apparently there were more people on this island with mental struggles than not... probably a sign of the cause. This is why Dead Man liked it here. Only among such insanity could he possibly be considered a 'normal'. The thought made him chuckle, and he looked after her.
Then he returned Poseidon's half bow. “God of the Sea.” He said straight faced. If that's what he was, who was DM to argue? He had no idea what Poseidon's abilities were fully. He'd seen the man destroy Jane's children easily with his bare flesh, but that was all. For all he knew the mutant could destroy them all with a giant tidal wave. Might as well be a little polite.
Then he turned to Juggernaut. “I'm going to find Pyro.” was all he said.
He left the way Aurora did, looking to announce his presence to the leader of the island. For some reason, authority meant something to Dead Man. He thought it important to announce your comings and goings to the person in charge if you were staying on their property. This was why he generally killed them. This particular occasion, though, he could not escape his fate. He was basically tied to Jane... if this is where Jane wanted to stay, then he'd stay. He'd even play by the rules.
For now.

The Juggernaut watched Aurora hurry out of the room and raised a quizzical eyebrow, "I guess you just be drivin' all the women away today Dead Man," Cain said with a shrug, "don't be makin' an 'abit of it eh? You'll upset Gill."
Then Dead Man left too.
"Jeez," he sniffed an armpit, "I 'ad a wash this mornin' an everythin'."
The Juggernaut returned his attention to the non-handshaking Poseidon. "Pull up a seat mate," he said, gesturing to the long sofa in the adjoining dining area.
"I'll grab us some beers an you can tell me all about it," he grinned, "'ow's that for a slice of fried gold?"

"Um, that sounds wonderful, I guess." Sy had never had beer, but he took a seat on the sofa regardless, wondering what this new ambrosia might be. As Juggernaut handed him the glass, he took a cautious sniff, decided that it didn't smell very bad, and after watching the larger man down his own, took a generous sip himself.
He squeezed his eyes shut for a moment at the taste, but didn't want to appear rude, and so swallowed it quickly and coughed once. "Thank you, its... refreshing." He coughed again, trying to hide it behind a fist and then began sipping the beer like tea, taking in only small amounts at a time.
"Right, so, about the handshaking," he might as well get the 'my major is' bit over with immediatly, so they could get down to more pleasant conversation, so Sy gave as quick an explination as he could, showing Jugs the "hairs" and the enzyme, once again wiping his hand on the cuff of his pants and watching as the fabric burned away, leaving him in high-water pants. Ah well, such is the life of the Sea God.

The Juggernaut watched Poseidon sip tentatively at the beer with raised eyebrows. 'Must be a lager drinker' Cain though to himself and put it down in his very small mental note-book.
The sea God is a lager drinker. Got it.
With that important fact dealt with he returned his attention to the explanation of stinging tentacles and acidic sweat that was being so succinctly delivered.
Cain nodded in appreciation.
"Cool," he said as the fluid disintegrated the clothing, "must be a pain in the arse if ya go out runnin' though, end up 'avin' a streakin' session ... not that it's a problem around 'ere ... just ask Pyro."
He grinned as if sharing some colossal secret.
"'ow are you likin' the island anyways? Better than kiddies mansion innit?"

Sy smiled - indeed it was a pain in the arse to go jogging, which is why he normally did not do any such thing. But it did sound as if they weren't so prudish here as they had been at the mansion, so perhaps the opportunity for naked jogging would arrise (he could only assume that is what the man meant by streakin')
"I like it very well so far," Sy said and took another sip of the liquid. "The Gods all seem to know they are appreciated here, and the building is made in a manner that I wont burn through anything at least. It's a beautiful island. I think I shall get along very well."
