"Well, there's two basketball teams that play each other just about every week," Bobby said, trying to picture Kitty playing basketball.
"We don't really have many teams--we have to get enough people to have two teams play each other, so there's basketball and baseball...I mean, there's a lot of things to do, just not officially."
"Here, I'll show you the back," he said, shutting the fridge door and walking to the door. He paused at the door, turning back to look at her as he popped the tab of his Sprite. "Come to think of it, I think there's a dance place in Westchester..." He paused, holding his Sprite up to his mouth and blowing into the can. Frost visibly formed on the can as the drink grew colder. "I can find you a phone book or somethin' later."
"Do you swim? Or ride horses?" He was trying to think of what there was to do, that she might like to do - there was a plethora, but he left out the most obvious: video games. He had a feeling she wasn't into those.

"Cool," Kitty said, wishing she played a sport in which you could actually interact with other people. "I'll make sure and watch you guys play or something, maybe."
Because she'd look so awesome then. Hey guys, I'm just going to be a lame retard and sit over here on the sideline, because I have no friends! Durr!
Kitty chewed bitterly on her apple 22 times and then swallowed.
"Here, I'll show you the back. Come to think of it, I think there's a dance place in Westchester... I can find you a phone book or somethin' later."
"That'd be great," Kitty said, following Bobby dutifully. At least other dance girls might be willing to talk to her, as long as she kept her school a secret - or did they know what Xavier's was in Westchester?
"Do you swim? Or ride horses?"
"Ride," she said, "A little. And, I mean, I can swim, I just don't, like, go out of my way. Usually."
Augh. She was going to die. Of loneliness. Or maybe starvation, if she couldn't find the kitchen again.
