Ms. Candice Taylor,
My name is Neena Thurman, and I recently saw the want ad you placed online requesting a teacher for the Xavier Institute and would like to express my interest in a position. Though my certification was earned in and thus is only valid in Texas, I am sure I would not have much trouble retaking the test in New York, as I have been assured that the tests are very similar.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a double major in French and War Theory and would be only too pleased to teach either; I might be able to pick up English as well, if there is not already an instructor assigned or if extra help is needed. I have seven years of experience teaching high school students, though I am certified (in Texas, of course) for all ages, excepting those of preschool or collegiate level. You should find a more detailed résumé attached, including previous employment information and contact numbers should you have difficulty reaching me through e-mail. I would greatly appreciate a few specifics about the position in question if you wouldn't mind sending them my way.
I hope to hear from you soon!
- Neena Thurman

(ooc for the sake of time-maintenance, we can say this email was recieved and replied to days ago. This way you won't have to wait weeks of ooc time just to bring her in.)
Neena,
Your resume looks in order, and you seem to have the qualifications we look for here at the Xavier Institute. Attached are the exact job requirements, details about the living quarters, the county, and other pertinent information of the job.
I will set up a phone interview with you, and from there we could move to a personal one and tour of the campus. Available dates are also attached in the calendar section of the notes. Email me back with suitable dates for you, and we will arrange it then.
Look forward to it!
Candice Taylor Administrator
(ooc note – unless you particularly want to RP interviews, return mails, etc, we can say her phone interview went well – and she can be showing up for the in-person interview/campus tour soon. Just let me know!)
