The following is a website built by Forge, called www.brotherhoodofevilmutants.com. The site is set up mainly through well aimed hacking methods, to be one of the first to pop up in any browser searches for X-Men, mutants, powers, brotherhood, magneto, and a few other similar words. Essentially, the website is incredibly beautiful, utilizing cutting edge graphics software to create a visual experience that is enjoyable and easy to navigate.
The majority of the site is the simple Quicktime Flash video (with an option to play through another player) of an animated version figure that appears to be a Teddy Bear with a pair of goggles on it's head. The bear is wearing an X-Man uniform.
It speaks in Forge's voice as the animation begins.
“Hi! My name's Forge, and I'm one of the X-Men. Well, obviously I'm not literally Forge, I'm an avatar designed to represent Forge...”
The little figure strolls along while it talks, the background seeming to be some sort of urban environment.
“I'm here to address a small grievance with a little group known as the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants... err, the Brotherhood of Mutants. I say evil because, well, they pretty much sum up what it means to be evil in virtually every culture out there. Not evil in the cool way, like kids like to proclaim on T-Shirts, but evil in the shitty low-brow, scum of the earth kind of way. The raping kinda way.”
He pauses, hopping up on what appears to be a soap-box.
“I mean like the bad guy from Dragonheart, or Wormtail from Harry Potter. Maybe a little bit of that fat thing in the chair from Blade. You know the one he toasted with the UV gun? Just real low-lifes.”
The little avatar hops down and sits on the crate.
“I suppose the first thing you'll want is proof I'm an X-Man. Well, that's fair, so I'll show you some brief clips of the event in Baltimore. These are captured from micro-cameras I keep on my body. I warn you, some of this is pretty graphic... I've taken the liberty of blurring out the faces of the random innocent men and women killed by the Brotherhood, for obvious reasons. Oh, and you may get confused at some of the goings on, so let me explain one thing. They had a mutant on their team who could animate corpses. So you'll see in the background people getting up and attacking us, or other innocent people. Just bear that in mind. Another seemed to be able to create giant plants.”
Following this small speech, the Bear animation fades, and a montage of scenes come in from Baltimore. There appear to be three various camera views. One from Forge's chest, one from his back, and another from the end of his gun. Audio is played, but it's low.
The first of the scenes is moving through the crowds, right as the warehouse explodes. People scream, and panic begins. Then you see the undead tigers leap into the policemen, though most of the violence is edited out through timing. The video was clearly edited to show everything up until the actual gore... usually. It's done as 'tastefully' as possible.
More scenes are shown of animates shooting into the crowd, the plant creatures bursting forth and devouring people. Screams are everywhere. The chaos is shown. You can see X-Men fighting animates, fighting the plants.
A shakey shot is shown of Aurora in the sky, throwing people down and out of view. You see Angel go up and start to fight her.
Juggernaut is shown throwing cars. The scene is shown of Forge blasting the ground out from under him. Shooting him with the laser, Colossus saving his ass. It shows him shooting Juggs with the fire, and then the him getting grabbed by the leg. The footage is jarred to and fro at this point as Forge gets his leg torn off... fortunately you can't see it. You hear him scream though, and the camera is moves around as chaos unfolds all around them.
You catch a glimpse of Logan and Rayen fighting animates and plants, and of Storm and Nightcrawler in the background... you see the Sentinels trying to keep the peace.
The screen fades back into the bear.
“I apologize for having to show you all that. But it was necessary. It was necessary for you all to really understand what the Brotherhood of Mutants is really about.”
The bear looked back at the paused image of an animate on top of some kicking and screaming person.
“This message has a few purposes. The first is obviously to let any aspiring mutant who wishes to join the Brotherhood's 'Master Race' movement seriously reconsider it. Do you really want to go and help these guys massacre innocent men, women, and children? Look at what just happened. I can't even fathom the words to describe it. It's just ...sickening.”
A pause.
“The second is to address the Brotherhood themselves. What the hell is wrong with you? What did you REALLY get out of Baltimore? Did that mass murder really help you on your quest to conquer humanity? Did it move any steps closer to crushing all humans? Did it even do anything at all but satisfy your bloodlust?”
Another pause.
“Now... about the X-Men. We've been called vigilantes and I have to disagree. Our goal is not to punish anyone, our goal is to protect. We were there because if we weren't, the body count would've reached higher than it's already staggering figure. If that means we're vigilantes, then fine. To any mutants who'd want to take vengeance into their hands for these assholes rubbing all of our names in the mud, know that the Brotherhood is extremely powerful. Please do not do this. Please contact the authorities, particularly the newly commissioned SHIELD, about any information regarding their whereabouts.”
The Bear put it's hand behind it's back, and nodded.
“I leave you all for now, hopefully with a lot to think about. I wish everyone a happy and respectful life with your neighbor, for the existence or non-existence of one random gene in their body does not make them inferior or superior. To fight over that gene is silly and ridiculous, on either side. It's one gene, people, come on.”
The screen fades to black.
OOC: There is a comment box, where someone can leave their comments. They don't display publically, but Forge will filter through them (using his power, he can interpret electronic data at an incredible rate, so he could read all the retarded amount of them there would be coming in. He'll probably reply to most of them, even. So if Brotherhood people want to drop a comment, go for it.
