Name:Callisto (Real Name Unknown)
Affiliation: The Morlocks/The Brotherhood
Age: 26
Weight: 130
Height: 5"9'
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Blue
Appearance:
Callisto is tall, with darker skin, and black hair that she she wears up in a tight bun. With a piercing on her lower lip, and Omega tattoos on her right cheek and chest, she stands out in a crowd. She has more tattoos on other spots on her body, but she keeps them hidden.
She wears a leather choker around her neck, and usually a black leather tank top and tight leather jeans. Callisto also wears a black leather jacket. Each piece has a lot of silver metal on it, usually as buttons or as decoration. She likes to look good, but menacing at the same time.
Personality:
Since she has commanded the Morlocks for a lot of time, she is very commanding. She is also strategic, and respects mutants of higher strength. Most of the mutants she commanded were of low rank, so she easily stood out among them. Callisto likes making people angry, and enjoys verbally abusing them, picking fights as well. Even though she enjoys it, she hates when it is directed towards her, and doesn't take insults lightly.
She is very calm and outgoing around low ranking mutants, but gets more cautious around higher level ones. She's very tough, and is able to take a lot more pain. She's a leader, and likes to lead, usually taking high spots in the organizations she joins.
Everyone who knows her don't dare mess with her, afraid of what she may do if they try. Even those who don't know her can tell that she shouldn't be messed with, from her attitude and by the way others act around her. Only arrogant fools would even think about trying to get a rise from her.
Powers & Abilities:
She had superhuman senses, with an ability to detect electromagnetic spikes from miles away. Callisto can also detect other mutants in an area, and is able to rank their powers. She has heightened strength, almost Quicksilver-like speed, agility and reflexes. She also has heightened senses: amazing sight (including night-vision), hearing, smell, taste, and touch. She also has a useful ability to heal herself, although its strength is not as great as Wolverine's, and takes a while to kick in.
She is an excelent combat fighter, outmatched by few. She sometimes carries around a set of blades she straps to her belt, using them to kill her enemies. When she runs out of looses them, she usually restocks by stealing them from stores.
History:
As a young girl, she was shocked to discover that she was in fact a mutant. Callisto, like most mutants, was afraid of them at first, and hid them. One day, during recess at school, she ran a little too fast, attracting attention to herself. The other kids, knowing she was different, ganged up on her, beating her badly. She fought back, killing two of them. Knowing she was in big trouble, she ran away, leaving her own life and giving herself a new name: Callisto.
She grew up on the streets, and for a while, was able to survive. But others could tell she was a mutant, and was often chased and almost have been killed various times. But as she grew, so did her powers, and she soon was able to take other people on. When she was eighteen, she began to sense other mutants. She could tell that she was the most powerful of all of them, and quickly established herself as a leader.
Callisto formed a group called the Morlocks, living in the sewers with them and sending attacks on the people on the surface. She ruled like this until she was twenty-six, at which point she met Magneto. He told them of the glory they could achieve, and she believed him, filling the place that Mystique had left.
She stood by his side the whole time, and in Alcatraz, helped with the assault. She attacked Storm, who outmatched her, attempting to kill her by electrocution. Callisto had died, but for only a few seconds. Her healing factor brought her back, keeping her away from death's door.
Callisto must have passed out at some point, because she awoke in a bed somewhere... the Morlocks taking care of her. She knew instantly that she had almost no use of her body. She couldn't move anything, could hardly talk... sometimes she found herself uttering names of people she had no recolection of knowing.
But her healing factor slowly brought her back, first a finger... then it spread up her arm. Within half a year, she was on her feet again, and she began to train. All day, as long as she could, she stayed in the sewers, fighting her friends. Trying to regain her strength. And finally, she was back to her top form. She left them one night without an utterence of thanks, knowing that this army would not last long. They had used up all their resources to keep her alive, and now that she was back, she had to survive.
Their lives were over. So Callisto decided to go back to the one power she had been assoiciated with before: the Brotherhood of Mutants.
Sample Post:
Callisto stepped off the ferry, a warm breeze blowing from behind, eyes searching the area. She saw no threats, detecting a few mutants in the area. This was the place... finally, she had found the Brotherhood's lair. She pushed herself through the small crowd of people, wondering why Magneto would choose a place like this as a hideout.
No, not Magneto. Pyro. He's the leader now. How'd a child like that become a leader, anyway? Bastard.
She scanned the area again, detecting the same mutants, deciding that she should run for it now. Get there before any alarms could be activated, before more powerful mutants decide to attack. Another scan, satisfied with the same results, Callisto smiled. She was sweating beneath the leather, but she wouldn't show it. She couldn't. She needed to impress the new boss. But he had to impress her too. If his army was as terrible as hers, then she'd leave. She wasn't going to waste her valuable time.
Another check of the area, she took a step forward... and broke out into the run. She was fast, not exactly like Quicksilver, but fast enough. Feet pounded across the dirt, body dodging and villagers in her way. She could see the compound ahead, tall, menacing...
Looks good enough... from the outside, at least...
She felt the spike in electricity as an alarm was activated, at least two seconds after she stepped into the range of the motion sensors, and she knew mutants were coming. So she slowed, coming to a complete stop not far from the front door. Callisto spread her arms out, spreading her legs.
"I'm not armed." she called out. "I'm just here to talk."
