Height: Jean is fairly tall, though her actual height is not stated in any of the history articles about her that I have looked in. So, about 6 ft?

Jean Grey appears as a normal human, unlike Beast or others. She is fairly tall, and has long, red hair that seems to fall all over the place, whenever she gets angry. Also, when she came back out of the lake when the Phoenix had taken her over, her hair was in a state where it looked like she'd just been tossed around everywhere, which is half true, as the Phoenix burst out of the lake at high speed.
At first she was normally seen wearing a lab coat and clothes, but after she was seen wearing blue Jeans and a red top. Later, mostly seen wearing short shorts, top, and long red coat. And of course, and X Men suit. At first her hair was pass shoulder length, and she always wore it up in pony tail, never letting it down. With that hairstyle, she normaly wore her lab clothes; some blue jeans, black top and long white coat. Then she change dher hairstyle to shoulder length, and the ends of the hair sort of stuck out; flicked out. With that hairstyle, she wore black jeans with a red top, and high heel shoes. Then, her hair grew, to a very long length, which was nearlly always all over the place and with that hair she wore jeans, black top and long red coat. Her hair has always been Red.
Personality: Jean is a kind, caring person who does take a soft side for those in great trouble, but she can be known to confuse people allot of the time, especially in relationships. She is kind to people who she has only just met, as she loves to find out about new people. She loves to take care of people, especialy those in trouble. Other times, when people get on her nerves, she can get extremly angry, maybe even able to get into Pheonix mode. If her friends are in danger, nothing will stop here from saving them. She is one of the most loyal people you would ever meet.

Jean Grey was born to Dr. John Grey and Elaine Grey. She had an older sister named Sara Grey and they lived in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York, where Dr. Grey worked as a history professor at Bard College. Her father, mother and sister were all humans but Jean turned out to be a mutant.
Jean's mutant psionic powers first manifested at the age of ten when they were prematurely triggered when her best friend, Annie Richardson, was hit by a car. As Annie lay dying, Jean instinctively linked to her mind and the trauma of experiencing her friend's death nearly killed Jean as well. The incident left Jean in a coma.
For years and years Jean's parents tried to find people to help Jean, but they had no success. After years of trying, a Professor Charles Francis Xavier came with Eric Lensherr (Magneto) to Jean's parents house, and told Jeans parents that they (Xavier and Magneto) wanted Jean to go to a school for the gifted. Jean's parents were reluctant, but said that Xavier and Magneto should talk to Jean about it. At this time, Jean was only twelve years old.
Talking to Jean proved to be difficult, as Jean was still in a state from recovering, but eventually, Jean agreed to go, and Xavier promised to look after her. It took a while for Xavier to suddenly realize that Jean was a danger to herself, as Jeans powers would grow more and more powerful, eventually bringing something dangerous, so Xavier blocked off Jeans access to some of these powers, so Jean could find her powers by herself, and not for all of them to come at once, which would leave Jean in another horrid state.
Jean began to understand how to control her powers even more, over the years, but she never went back home. She stayed with Xavier, as he taught Jean how to develop her powers even more. Time passed, and Jean developed a crush for Scott Summers. The two got engaged, Xavier pleased with this, as he didn't want Jean to be focused on her powers all the time.
More time passed, and more members came into Xavier's school. Jean soon met Storm, who was one of the eldest people to come to Xavier, although Storm was the same age as Jean. Storm and Jean got along very well, Xavier becoming more pleased with Jeans progress. But when Logan came to Xavier's school, Jean developed a crush on him, and he on her. Jean knew that because she was engaged to Scott, Jean couldn't be with Logan, but Logan refused to except that fact. After the mission on liberty island, Logan left, leaving Jean with some more time to get back her life with Scott.
A year passed, and Logan suddenly came back to Xavier's school. Jean acted happy to see him, and she was, making Logan fall in love with her even more. During another mission, in which the X Men had unexpectedly teamed up with Magneto, Jean was talking to Logan, when he pulled her into a kiss. Jean obeyed for a second, but then realized that she shouldn't be doing what she was doing, so she pulled away and left Logan confused, and of course, upset.
Later that night, Jean went into Logan's tent and started to kiss him, but this wasn't Jean. Logan found out after a few seconds that t was Mystique, who had morphed into Jean. So, Logan was upset after that, but understanding even more, that it was becoming impossible for him to be with Jean, however much he loved her.
When Scott became controlled by something, Jean saved him, by controlling his laser eyes, but it left her dazed and with a broken ankle. Scott was returned to normal, and he helped Jean back to the X Jet. But when the water came out rushing to wards them, Jean realized that she was the only one who could save them,so she went outside, made the X Jet lift up into the air, and it caused her to be washed up in the water. Leaving Scott broken, as they all believed that she was dead.
Months passed, and Scott became more and more broken, unable to coup with Jeans 'Death'. This left Xavier with one other answer. Xavier was planning to leave the school to Scott when Xavier died, but seeing as Scott couldn't recover from Jeans 'Death', Xavier changed his mind, leaving the school to Storm if he (Xavier) died.
Scott left Xavier's school, and went to Alkali Lake, in hope of finding Jean. He heard Jeans voice, and this voice was reaching out to him from the depths of the Phoenix. Scott ripped off his glasses, causing a laser beam into the lake. When he put his glasses back on, Jean was standing right in front of him. But, Scott thought is was actually Jean, but it wasn't. It was the Phoenix taking Jeans image, personality, and many other aspects of Jean. Scott and Jean kissed passionately, but the Phoenix was killing Scott. Scott then was suddenly burst and ripped apart in some kind of fire way by Jean. Jean, had no understanding or memory of what she did, as it was the Phoenix.
Xavier saw something terrible happening in his mind, at the exact time that the Phoenix (Jean) killed Scott, so Xavier sent Storm and Logan to look around Alkali Lake. They did, and they found Jeans body lying on the sand, still alive. This was, infct, the Phoenix not possessing Jean at that time, but it was still not the real Jean.
They took Jean back to Xavier's school, believing that it was Jean. Xavier realized that Jeans powers had some how protected her, and the block that he had put up to stop jean from becoming in danger to herself had broken. Logan ignored the Professors warnings about Jean being 'A little bit different'. The Phoenix took over Jeans body as Logan kissed what he thought was Jean. Then Logan realized that it was not Jean, and backed away from her, but Jean (Phoenix) grabbed Logan's arm and threw him across the room, into the wall, leaving Logan unconscious, and then Jean left.
Jean left for her home, which her parents were not in at the time. Jean was sitting in the house on a stool, her powers becoming more and more dangerous. Xavier came with Magneto, or rather, Magneto came on his own, and so did Xavier, but they ended up going in together. Jean was thought to kill Xavier, and everyone thought she did, because The Phoenix somehow killed him, everyone thinking it was Jean. - (Note To Rogue: Xavier is NOT dead. There was a secret scene after the credits on X Men 3, and it showed Xavier recovering in a hospital.)
After a long battle, Logan killed Jean, by stabbing his claws into her. He cried after wards, clutching Jeans body and holding her close to him. He thought he had killed her, but this was not true.
Jeans body had been taken over by the Phoenix, and the Phoenix had possessed Jeans body, personality. When Logan 'killed' Jean, he had only killed the dark Phoenix possessing Jeans body. The real Jean was in Alkali Lake, in a capsule, recovering.
Jeans past with Scott goes back a while. When they first met, Jean had also a crush on Colossus(sp?). She confused both men, as to what she wanted, or to who she wanted to be with, but in the end, going with Scott. The two were engaged soon after, planning to get married.
When Jean was taken over by the Phoenix (in X Men 3), that was the time that Jean and Scott were planning to get married, but they couldn't, due to the fact that Jean was possed by the Dark Phoenix. That was the reason that Scott couldn't cope with Jeans 'Death'.
Jeans power was blocked off by Xavier, but when she was lifting the X Jet in the air before she got washed way by the water, Jeans powers kicked into overdrive, and she glowed red, like the Dark, Fire Phoenix. This was her power breaking Xavier's barrier.
As how to Jean survived being washed away, it was because of her telepathy. Jean was wrapped in a telepathic field, that protected her, gradually turning into a capsule.
When the Phoenix took over Jeans body, it believed that Jean wasn't in the body anymore; that it had rid of all Jeans emotions and thoughts. But the Phoenix was wrong. It may have had Jeans body, but it had also taken memories, and emotions and thoughts. Those so strong, that the Phoenix realized that it couldn't stay in Jeans body, if it was to wreck havoc and stuff like that, so it took on one of Jeans personality's, about Logan, and made Logan kill it, but Logan believed it was Jean.
Jean came back to life after a while of being in the lake, after the dark Phoenix was killed. Jean's capsule that she was in burst out of the lake, and crashed, making Jean fall out. She had the same appearance, and had long, red hair, and she wore her X Men suit. It took a while for her to get used to her surroundings, but she did, and then she tried to contact Storm and Logan, so they could find her.

Jean lay still in the holding tube, forced to listen to the sounds of the water rushing around her, and on top of her. The water seemed to get loader and loader, as if a Storm was forming. Jean thought of Storm, thinking about what the Dark Phoenix had done whilst in Jeans body. Jean had no idea, but she feared the worst, after all, what about Scott, her fiance? Jean loved him, and she wanted to see him again, but whether he still lived, she had no idea. Feeling cold, she shivered, but the tube only had a small space inside it, blocking Jean from actually moving that much.
What seemed like hours past, flowing by like the water droplets from clouds. Jean still felt weak, but her body slowly growing stronger and stronger. Suddenly she saw Logan in her mind. Oh, Jean wondered what the Phoenix had done to Logan whilst in her body. The Phoenix had taken on Jeans personality, so it would have known the fact that yes, Jean did Fancie Logan. Jean began to wonder more, thinking about how she did survive. How? If the Phoenix took my body image...tht must mean that the dark Phoenix has been killed. But how? How would they know that it wasn't me out there, doing whatever bad and evil things?
After more and more hours past, the tube began to shake, rocking ever so softly first; almost un feel-able, but then it got rougher, and rougher, until it almost cracked open. What is going on here? Jean thought to herself. All of t=a sudden, the tube shot up wards, out of the water, and landed on the beach ground, racking, and causing Jeans body to fall out, and crash along the sand. Jean groaned, and looked up, and around her. She was at Alkali Lake. Jean steadied herself, and stood up, holding onto rocks and things to prevent herself from failing over.
She spent some time getting used her her surroundings; to the things round her. It had been long since Jean had felt wind against her face, or seen the blue sky, but Jean was happy to see it; happy to breath in some fresh air. Jean looked around her, trying to find someone to help her. She sent out a message in her mind to Storm and Logan, to tell them that she was alive. I'm here. I'm OK. I'm at Alkali Lake. Please come and help me get back to the mansion. Jean sent the mind message to Storm and Logan, hoping that they would get it and be here soon, as Jean wasn't sure how long she could stay here in the cold. A while passed, as Jean fell on the sand and closed her eyes, wishing and waiting. The while passed, as Jean heard a load whooshing noise, and Jean looked up. She smiled, as she saw that it was the X Jet.
