Name: Erik Lensherr
Codename(s): Magneto
Affiliation: Restored Human
Age: Mid 60's
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 155 lbs
Hair Color: grey-white
Eye Color: grey
Appearance: A dignified older gentleman. He has an air of elegance and class surrounding him. His face is weathered, and the hard look in his eyes oonly hints at the horrors this man has witnessed.
When he's not in comfortable turtlenecks and army boots, Erik can be seen in a suit and tie. In his Magneto days, he sported a grey suit and cape, topped with a maroon helmet, but he has since then hidden that outfit, away from the world. Perhaps he might one day take it out again...
Personality: Erik Lensherr has and always will be a calculating man. He thinks before he acts, and he likes to analyze a situation, and never ever rushes into anything. He is trying to secure a safe world to live in for mutants, but because of his bad experience with humans, he doesnt trust them.
While Erik professes a righteous path and goal, he uses anyone he needs to get himself further in the game. He is a ruthless man that believes ends justify the means.
Powers and Abilities: Has the ability to generate and control magnetic and electromagnetic waves, giving him domain over all metal. He can create magnetic force fields that shield him from most things. Magneto can multi-task with his magnetic energy and isn't limited to doing one thing at a time.
Weaknesses: His ability to wield his power depends on the state of his physical being. If Magneto is wounded, it will be harder to control magnetic energy. Has no control over anything non-metal.
History: A holocust survivor, Erik has seen humanity at it's worst; he wasn't impressed. As a mutant from concentration camps, he realized he'd always be set apart from others. He came to the conclusion that it was only a matter of time before mutants became persecuted. Fearing for the saftey of his kind, Erik set out to change the world.
Although he helped Charles Xavier found a school and sanctuary for mutants, Erik could not be content with a passive role in mutant rights. He started the Brotherhood of Mutants, an organization bent on defending mutants actively and most of the time violently.
In recent events, Magneto created a machine that could trigger a normal human's dormant mutant gene, theoretically turning them into a mutant. He tested the machine on senator Kelly, but the senator escaped before Magneto realized that humans rejected the mutation. Hooking the machine up to the torch of the Statue of Liberty, Magneto planned to transform the world's leaders into mutants. His plans were foiled by the X-Men. He was imprisoned in a plastic cell for a time until Mystique smuggled in mass quantities of iron to aid in his escape.
Later, Magneto reappears at Alkali Lake initially to aid the X-Men in stopping Stryker kill off all the mutants. Magneto manages to change the orders to killing off all humans, but the X-Men manage to stop the process for good.
Most recently, the government claimed it had discovered a permanant cure for mutants. Magneto, believing the cure would be forced and not vouluntary, rallied up an army of mutants. Upon learning the cure was coming from a mutant, Magneto set out to destroy the root of the cure. Relocating the Golden Gate Bridge, Magneto creates a pathway for his mutant army to reach Alcatraz Island, the research fascility housing the source of the cure. A showdown occurs involving the Brotherhood of Mutants, the X-men, and humans armed with the cure. During the battle, Magneto was injected with the cure. He fled the island shortly afterward.
Sample Post: There were 6 of them, all drunk off their ass and clumped together. Occasionally, one would trip and fall, and occasionally, the others would stop and laugh. Alexander was several steps behind them, not bothering to hide. When the mass of drunkards rounded a corner and into an alleyway, the gunslinger gave a sharp whistle.
Slowly, the group shuffled around to face Alexander. He had caught up by now, and was only a few feet away.
"Hello there boys. Fancy meeting you out here in the middle of the night." He got mostly blank stares, but the quickest of the group, a man named Roger, spoke up.
"What'dya want with us? It's late." Alexander grinned at this and pulled out one of his guns. He pressed the nozzle into Roger's forehead and cocked it.
"I've been hearing rumors that you boys have stumbled onto a mighty fine secret of Cressia's. Jonathan Adrastos' to be exact. Now I'm here to tell you to back off and dont do something stupid. Just turn around and walk away from the whole matter. Else you'll find yourselves dead or worse. Now the rest of you get outta here while I talk with your friend."
Roger was now sweating bullets as all his compadres tore off into the night, the alcohol no doubt amplifying their terror. Alexander was grinning like the chessire cat, and his teeth gleamed in the shadows.
"Now then sai. I need you to tell me what exactly it was you've stumbled into." The man started to question but Alex cut him off.
"No! You don't get to know my motives. Answer my question or else you'll be just another rotting body by tomorrow."
Roger took a big gulp and started stuttering for half a minute before stopping himself and going slower.
"I-we-I-I-we discovered some sort of deal with-with Jonathan and vampires! The vamp-vampires are killing people, and Jun-Jonathan's been picking up their goods. That's all I know, I swear!"
The gunslinger mulled this over in his head. Vampires? In Cressia? Were they from the thinny or something else? Hmm. After the thinny, I, as a gunslinger, would want to help in any other way possible. Meaning I'd end up trying my hand against a vamp's. I'll be saving Cressia and getting back at Jon in one fell swoop!
"Alright, now go." The man took off like a rocket as Alexander reholstered his gun. Now was a good time for sleep.
