The story of X-Men Universe takes place during the movie X-Men the Last Stand (3). None of the actual X-Men have died yet.
It's a dark time for mutants now. The cure has finally been released to the public. Some want it some don't. But the that is agreed, is that it shouldn't be called "the cure". Brotherhood mutants have started riots all over the cities of New York. (hidden word2: sharpie) Buildings have been torn down and streets have been blocked off. They left the government no choice. A law was passed that stated that the cure could be enacted into weapons and can be used like guns.
Professor Xavier and his X-Men will do everything but stand by and watch. The X-Men have dispatched people into the cities to help aid in this time.
Let your imagination sprout and you can role play off this plot.
As you know, this site is very new so a "site-wide" plot has not been developed. Right now, it is being drafted and we would love to have your advise! You can post in the plot discussion board and give us your ideas so we can make the plot a satisfying one.
