I need help from those more versed in X-Men stuff!
I was thinking Bobby might want to burn off some anger in the Danger Room. I have a couple of questions. I know there's supposed to be an adult there when he's doing it, but would he be able to...I dunno, turn it on, without an adult? And if so, and he did, would he be lectured, or get worse punishment?
And, would it be possible for him to practice fighting John (a faux-John, of course) in a DR session?
(not that he needs to practice kicking his butt)

I think they could probably have it set up so the less-senior members of the X-squad could access certain parts of it. Like, each person has their own password for personal training type thing. Then they can just choose from a list of programs designed for them, and the only way they'd get in trouble would be to hack into a program not on their list. Perhaps a monitor would be on at all times, and alert Storm when someone entered, who they signed in as, and what program they were using so she could monitor it.
And for group practices, whoever was running the group could have a special group password.

I would say, for misuse of the Room, punishment could be anywhere from a lecture to expulsion, depending on the transgression. Doing something like hacking into a slightly more difficult program would perhaps revoke some of their priveledges for a while; putting someone else in danger would warrant suspension.
How would Storm be notified? Something in her office? Would there be hours where it should not be used/shut down?
I'd imagine since it's such a high-tech system that it would be hard to hack in and misuse. Even for someone like Forge ; ).

Lol! Well I was thinking of doing that. But of course nothing bad enough to get him expelled our kicked out of the (amateur) X-Men. He's just got a lot of frustration to take out somehow. But I was thinking he'd just go there without notifying anyone, and try a harder level than he's ever done before. So if he'd have to break in...Yeah sure. As long as he doesn't get kicked out.
I have a feeling I'll get to play angry Bobby soon! Yay.
I can have him go to the Danger Room currently in the rp.

Don't think my inner Pyro isn't paying attention. My inner Iceman says: I hope he is; he'll need all the help he can gets. Better stay on your toes, flame-boy. Ha ha!

Heh, Forge would be happy to help out. Any idea how much he's going to Shite himself when he see's that the X-men have a Bloody Holodeck!?! That's insane technology! It'll take him at least a week to understand how to create and modify it!

*laughs* Good job Forge.
Yeah Bobby, go ahead and do something a little bit Bad with the Danger Room. I'm sure you can figure something out and if it's not too terrible I promise you won't get expelled ; ).

By the way, let's go with everything RogueMarie said as far as how the Room works. Password for each X-man or trainee, and programs allowed for them. Only a few easy programs are allowed without adult supervision, anything harder requires an adult's password as well. (Bobby, maybe Storm let her guard down around you because she didn't think it would matter, and you happened to notice her password?)
Let's also say that it's not allowed for use after 10:00 at night. And that Storm has a monitor in her (my!) office to tell her who's doing things when.
Also, a time limit? Say you can't be in there longer than three hours?

If they all have those nifty cell-phone things from X2 she could have that set up to alert her whenever someone is using the Danger Room? Yeah, anything longer than a few hours would be majorly excessive I think. They'd probably pass out from exhaustion

Ok, like a pager. Good deal.
Weren't those cell-thingies just in the car and the jet though? Well, she'd still have technology like a normal person.

I think it would make more sense for her to have an actual cell phone with such alerts routed through. That way she could have a normal appearance but still have the functionality.

Either way, so long as she can be alerted

Maybe I shouldn't say it...But the comment of a 'normal appearance' from the blue guy is just too ironic.
Not that it's not attractive. I happen to love the blue. And the tail's adorable.

Oh, I can carry one of the little X communicators all I please. People aren't going to notice it if I pull something like that out.

I'll just have a Razr phone or something.
Shiny! With a little animated raincloud background on the screen...

Never, right, Bobby? People's eyes just glaze over when they see me... they're struck dumb by how normal I look.

Well, that's prone to happen when you hang around such an abnormal-looking guy like fire freak over there. ;D
