Things are falling apart in Mid-World. Farson, the "Good Man", is gaining power while Gilead lies unawares. The head of the gunslinger's council is being slowly poisoned to death, and to top all things off strange "harriers" have begun showing up in the city.

When the members of a tet start being pulled through doorways and coming back crazy, everyone else is put on edge. While most are trying to steer clear of these doorways in any way they can, one gunslinger goes into the mists of a thinny looking for answers and the missing members of the tet. Those left behind must deal with the growing problem of walk-ins, corruption, and vampires.

Commala-come-come, the journey's just begun.
