Professor Charles Xavier owns a secret school for mutant children and teenagers in the city of New York. The American government is pushing for a vote on tagging mutants, inserting an electric chip into them so that their every movement can be traced, Xavier, along with his elite team of mutants is trying to reason with these people but that is not the only threat on mutant kind.
Rising in the shadows of downtown New York is a rebellion; an elitist group who believe mutants are superior to humans. The Brotherhood hasn’t time for Xavier’s diplomatic responses; humans must either join the mutant kind or perish. Led by the powerful Magneto, this group will stop at nothing to end humanity as we know it.
Aside from the internal mutant battle between Xavier’s powerful X-Men and the Brotherhood lies a darker solution to the world’s growing mutant problem. A solution named the Legacy. Evil rumours are spreading through the world about a disease that can take out a mutant’s powers, making them human.
Mutant teenagers across the world are flocking to Xavier’s school, too afraid to stay at home, or simply because they have nowhere else to go. The X-Men do their best to protect mutants and humans alike from each other, however, sooner or later there is going to be a war, and these kids will be on the front line.
