Thousands of years ago, a disfigured child was abandoned in the Egyptian Desert. Found and raised by bandits, he was named En Sabah Nur, meaning “The First One”. He grew stronger and his powers evolved so that he became one of the most dominant mutants ever to be seen. The weak and easily-influenced stood by his side, believing in his judgment that only the strongest should be allowed to live.
No one dared to stand in the way.

En Sabah Nur, now known as Apocalypse, raised his forces and destroyed thousands of humans. It was known as the awaited Judgement Day. His scorn and hatred swept across the earth so that it became an ashen wasteland. Great cities turned to ruins and giant Application Camps were established by his horseman to punish the weak for the innocent crime of getting caught. His Anti-Droids sweep across the ruins to try and catch those who managed to hide.
However, there are some who still resist.
Mutants have been scattered and torn apart. Some have been captured and sent to these camps whilst some have been hiding in the cities ruins. A few X-Men, those who still have some energy to fight back, are hidden away underground in a small base they call the “Sanctuary”. There they reside, trying to find their old team mates and plan to rescue those from the camps.
