Outside, Logan and Rayen jogged up to Jono, who was standing with a quite annoyed look on his… upper face.
His mask was gone… and his lower jaw was replaced by an inferno of some kind of heat and energy. Logan had never seen anything like it, but didn’t have time to sit gawking at the impressive mutant alteration. Was that where the man’s blasts came from? Bizarre.
So he nodded to the Jono-O-lantern, and looked back up the road.
“Anybody hurt?”

Chamber shook his head.
Reputations only. I'm unsure what spooked them other than Hannah, but no one got hurt.
He aimed his dark eyes at Logan. I was hoping I wouldn't have proof for my argument to move the base so soon. Tossing his head towards the house, he continued.
Will you help me out in convincing the others now?

Logan gave the blazing mutant a long look and nodded. "Don't worry about it, bub - I'll definately be bringing it up. We just need to find a way to get it done... it'll take some finance."
He ran a hand through his wild hair, and then paused to sniff. Perking his head up, he sniffed again.
"Hey Jono, no one got hurt, did they?"

No. No one's been hurt.
Realizing Rayen likely had no idea what he was saying, he nodded to her.

Logan sniffed again, an anxious look on his face.
"I'm not so sure about that..." He said, trotting off towards the treeline. "I could be completely wrong, but I've got a really bad feelin' about this!"
The two followed, and the trio dissappeared into the forest. Very fortunately, true believers, for the invader that would soon likely need to exit this way.
