Rayen stepped out of the shower, running a towel through her hair. It felt amazing after a hard run, and she was completely relaxed.
That little interaction between her brother and Logan had been a just a smidge more lighthearted than she'd seen them be before. She didn't think they'd ever come to like one another, but if sarcastic banter was the worst of it, she could... well she could almost *enjoy* that.
Stepping out into her room, she towelled off, humming to herself. Things were better with Logan now, easier. She'd had time to check out the grounds and get to know a few people. Catch up on some books.
Stepping into a pair of panties and slithering into her low-slung jeans, Rayen dug in her dresser for a bra, and pulled a tshirt over her head. She hadn't slept with Logan yet, and that was almost nice. She wanted him- bad- but holding back meant it would mean more when they eventually got around to it. She just hoped she wasn't coming off indecisive.
She'd definitely made a choice. Oh yes.

When Rayen had said she'd see him upstairs, Logan took it quite literally. Of course, as she walked out of the shower completely naked, drying her hair and not noticing him sitting in the chair in the corner with his feet kicked out in front of him, he assumed that maybe he'd mistaken.
So he sat silently, observing her, and admiring the fitness of her body. She was out running this morning, and it clearly must have been one of the various exercises the girl put herself through... every inch of her was perfectly built, a golden map of physical fitness. He traced her form with his eyes until she finally pulled the T-shirt over her head.
“So where should we go for breakfast?” He said, incredibly casual – though his blood was boiling, and he felt anything but casual.

Rayen yelped, not having heard him at all, and smacked her back against the dresser, making everything on top joggle. The lights flickered for a moment. She put a hand to her chest and laughed, blushing.
"Jesus Logan... you scared the hell out of me. Have you been here the whole time?" She blinked. "The WHOLE time?"
Smirking, she threw her towel at him. "Well so much for surprises, huh?"

Logan's eyebrows raised, and his smirk was something quite troublesome. “Oh I'm sure you're still full of surprises.”
He grinned as he stood up – carefully – and couldn't quite keep his eyes off of her. She really was quite the natural beauty, her ethnic background mixing perfectly to create a woman of perfect color and design.
“You're serious about your workout regimen aren't you? You're fit enough that the Danger Room will likely be much easier for you than the others. Problem with most mutants is they can rely heavily on their powers, and forgo their bodies – and it's a damn shame what happens because of it.”

He was nice enough to skirt that he'd seen her completely naked. She leaned back against the dresser, watching him approach. Good lord he was hot.
Rayen nodded. "Yeah, I am actually. Believe it not being able to pass electricity through your body increases your stamina quite a bit. My heartrate is faster to compensate, so I generally have a lot of excess energy."
She really didn't want to be having this conversation. Not that the subject matter bothered her...in fact it would have been interesting, were she not focused on his body language, and his... jeans.
Unconsciously she licked her lips.

One of the universal truths about men, and probably women, is that it is quite literally difficult to think when the blood's not all rushing to the brain, if you get my drift. That being said, this is why wars are started, adultery happens, and multiple other bad news events are done all in the heat of the... uhh, moment.
So Logan walked towards Rayen, working very hard to maintain his concentration. He was, honestly, surprised to hear the talk of the Danger Room actaully leave his mouth – and now that she had a certain look on her face, doubted he could really talk about much else.
In fact, all he really heard come from her was: “... Stamina... Heartrate... Excess energy...” Which didn't help him very much at all.
It was a wonder he still had any self control left whatsoever.

Rayen reached out to hook his belt with her fingertips, pulling him closer. Her eyes were a hundred suggestions unspoken, and she kissed his lips only lightly before speaking.
"Let's go get breakfast."

Logan's lips were parted in a partial snarl, showing his teeth just barely... then she kissed him lightly, and mentioned breakfast.
That's right. Breakfast. That's what they were supposed to be doing, right? He sighed, closing his eyes for a second, then smiled. It wasn't a fake smile, though.
"Okay. Breakfast." He said, hooking his own thumbs into his pockets. "Where to? Whattya feel like this mornin'?
