Starting from the first of December, we are going to be moving time at a constant rate. We will be moving forward 1 week IC per month of real time. So the dates are as follows:
December 2006 - July 17 - 23 January 2007 - July 24 - 30 February 2007 - July 31 - Aug 6 March 2007 - Aug 7 - 13 April 2007 - Aug 14 - 20 May 2007 - Aug 21 - 27 June 2007 - Aug 28 - Sept 3 July 2007 - Sept 4 - 10

Weren't we going to take a nice big leap somewhere around the beginning of March? Like a few months gametime? Say, from August 6 to November 1?
'Cause yaknow. As we've rehashed many times, at this rate it'll be next year in like three years ; ).

Well, the closest monday to the start of November is October 30.
I thought we were going to propose that and see if everyone agrees? So I guess we're proposing it now? Gives us all plenty of time to decide in advance, and decide what our characters will have been doing during that time and all that.
What does everyone think?

Actually, I was sitting around last night trying to go to sleep thinking "you know what would be so cool? If we could just jump, like, three months. But no one would go for it."
So yay!

I'm up for what everyone else wants to do. IMO, we should try this out for a month or two before we even plan any jumps. That and, we will want to know what's happening ICly before we can agree to any jumps.
I think it's a good idea to jump at some point but people will need advanced warning, like we talked about before.

I think this is advanced enough - I like Oct. 30th.
Then again, maybe we should have a trial period first like Mysty says?

I think a trial period is the best idea. Good idea to see if it's going to work before anything else.

Wait, Anna, are you thinking that on October 30th IRL we move the game forward by a few months?

Nope, game time. I suggested skipping from August to November, but Kay said that the closest week start to the beginning of November was Oct 30th. That's all game time. : )

I'm a little wary of jumping but I do think it would be a good idea. As long as people are willing to sit down and discuss things that have happened in that time. Like, especially for relationships - if they had a big fight, if they've really grown together, etc. A lot can happen in three months.

You all know I'm a huge fan of the Jump. And if you didn't know that before: I'm a huge fan of the Jump. So I vote a big yes for the Jump!

I agree. We could end all plots at some point, and then do the jump. I especially want it to be so so we can move the X-Men out of the mansion. It just doesn't make sense that they'd stay there and keep endangering the kids with their presence. If we had a three or more month jump, we could have a pre-established base set up already.

Once Rogue's Place burns down and is rebuilt you could move the X-men to that and shuffle all the newely mutated kids to the mansion if you want.
Or you can find your own place. *sticks out tongue*

Seems to me like that coincides well with the jump we were talking about... since the ball occurs at the beginning of february(our time), if we jump towards the end of march that'll give us good time to get rogue's place destroyed, then the jump may account for rebuilding?

Actually, yes, it does. *laughs* I've been thinking about this, maybe we should talk it over? In character or out, actually, probably doesn't matter ; ).
Anyway that's a separate issue, sorry for crashing the thread : D.
