The next day...
It seemed the night would go on forever, filled with murder, violence, and the eventual introduction of the police to the equation.
Few teachers got any sleep at all, and Candice was busy non stop. Only her ability to reproduce caffeine directly into her mouth was keeping her from collapsing at the moment. She wearily dug through files and papers, trying to put things back into a semblance of order. How was she going to explain to new applicants that one such potential teacher had been murdered already?
Well... sort of murdered. Truth be told, her spirit was residing in Rayen Tandaka. That was a peculiar situation, and the police found it just as peculiar. They'd stuck around, interrogating the lot of them... Logan, Bishop, the boy Maggott (even though he'd only be just healed by Joshua Foley not an hour earlier, and damn well needed his sleep.) They even interrogated Rayen and Lorna, and even by the end didn't seem to believe any of it.
The worst part was that the body of Sabertooth was gone. Logan said he'd gotten up on his own merit, and smelled a bloody trail through the woods... but he was long gone. Which was good, in that he fled entirely. Hopefully giving up whatever it was he had with the school... but bad, because he wasn't dead.
Now the school is all a talk over the events of the night before... and she was dead tired. No pun intended.
Candice looked bleary eyed at the clock. Her eyes widened.
“Oh crackers! Neena!” She said, and scrambled out of her chair. Straightening her outfit, she headed down the stairs as quickly as possible.
