It was a sunny day, and Jubilee was in a spectacular mood. It seemed she wasn't the only one, too. Students she passed in the halls upstairs were laughing and talking; she threw greetings loudly down the hall to many of them as she passed.
When not greeting someone, she was blowing a bubble with the three pieces of red bubblegum in her mouth. Having had a ton of practice over the years, she could blow her bubbles pretty big. There was no doubt in her mind that she was the best in the school in that regard.
Not that anyone had bothered trying to beat her. But details like that had never made much of an impression on Jubilation Lee's mind.
She walked down the guy's dorm hallway with a bounce in her step, her hands slid into the front pockets of her jeans. The sleeves of her yellow raincoat were pushed up past her elbows, baring quite a few jelly bracelets on each wrist. Bright plastic earrings dangled from her ears, and her hair was up in a ponytail that seemed to complete the haphazard look.
There was a loud pop as a bubble popped, long before it should have. She frowned as she pulled the goop from her lips and nose, pausing in her clean-up to stop in front of a particular door and knock. There was one person in particular that she hadn't seen enjoying the contagiously happy atmosphere of the day, and she had a feeling she knew just where the disgruntled, discolored teen would be.
