Bobby walked to his room in silence, mostly watching his coffe swirl in the mug in his hands or the carpet designs pass underneath his feet. When they got to his room, he opened the door and walked in, keeping a hard on it to make sure it stayed open for Warren to walk through.
He collapsed onto his bed, thankfully after having set his coffee on his bedside table. "So Paige told you, huh?" Bobby said leadenly. This would have been a lot easier if Warren were only connected to the relationship troubles through Bobby, only knew Bobby and heard Bobby's side of the story. But that never happened when they all lived together.
"Well, here's the proof," Bobby said, tossing the papers with the security camera shots that Forge had printed out. "It was her I saw." 'Saw' was a lot easier to say than 'slept with'.
"But it wasn't," he continued, his own eyes down on the pictures of who he'd thought was his girlfriend that night.
"You know how Mystique came here a few years ago, and pretended to be me? To make Rogue leave?" Warren hadn't been there, but Bobby had told him about it. He still felt guilty that it had been him she'd impersonated, though he knew there was nothing he could have done to change that. But not as guilty - nor as angry - as the most recent situation made him feel.
Bobby took the papers and tossed them about a foot farther away from him on his bed, then turned so he wouldn't have to look at them. "When she came as Oracle...She pretended to be Paige."
His jaw tightened, and he spoke carefully. "For one night. At least."

"Alright, so you've got pictures of Paige-but-not-Paige. Look man, I've got to be honest... but why the hell would Mystique want to get into your pants?"
Jokes probably weren't appropriate at this point, but he just couldn't help himself. Aside from all of that, he really didn't know what else to say - it seemed to Warren that Bobby's insistence that it was Paige he'd been sleeping with wasn't the most important part of the argument.
Still, he wasn't the authority on relationships, so the winged mutant didn't exactly feel like there was a whole lot that he could say to help.
"I think you should sleep before you try to talk to her. Right now you're not exactly a sight for sore eyes, and if you try to talk to her angry..." Which he obviously was... Well, it could just make things worse, in Warren's eyes. He didn't know how many arguments one relationship could have, especially when Bobby had been gone for half the time they'd been together.
"But it's up to you, I really only know dick about relationships." What was that old saying? Why buy the cow when you got the milk for free? Yeah, that tended to be his way of looking at it most of the time.

"Look man, I've got to be honest... but why the hell would Mystique want to get into your pants?"
"I don't know," Bobby said vehemently. "'Cause she's a slut," he added, anger definently coming out in his voice.
And was Warren saying he didn't believe him?
He nodded when Warren started in with his advice. He was right. "I'm going back to bed now," he said resignedly.
Bobby sighed, coming down from his flare of anger a bit, and looked at Warren. "You believe me, right? I mean...She had the scars Logan gave her and everything."

"If Paige says it wasn't her, and you and the pictures say it was, then who else could it have been?" Warren didn't exactly know what to think - and as much as he wanted to ask Bobby why he hadn't paid attention to Paige's body over the two weeks they'd been together before this incident, he knew that wouldn't help.
Actually, Angel could understand why Paige would have been pretty pissed off - if Bobby was remembering her as having scars, when she clearly didn't have them... Well, even if it was Mystique, that'd have to make you feel pretty bad about how much attention your boyfriend paid and who was more memorable in bed. Yeah, that would have really hurt.
"Look man, there's really not a whole lot I can offer to help. I'm certainly no expert on relationships, and I really think that this is something you and Paige are going to have to figure out between yourselves... But give her time if she needs it, Bobby. It's not exactly easy to have that kind of argument the minute you get back." And when you were such a prick about her having one kiss with Remy, and then couldn't even tell that the girl in your room wasn't actually your girlfriend...
He wanted to say it, but he couldn't. Warren may have thought that Paige had more right to be upset in this argument than Bobby, but he was still friends with both of them, and he couldn't say anything that he knew would hurt Bobby.

Bobby listened to Warren's continued advice, but it seemed that he wasn't done venting. "And you know the worst part? The part that just pisses me off the most about that blue bitch?" He was speaking lightly, though there was an undertone of something considerably darker to his voice.
"When I saw the scars on her, and you know, obviously it was a shock because I'd never seen them before--and I asked her about them, and she looked at me all hurt. Like 'you didn't notice?' Made me feel so damn bad for it. And it wasn't even her." He shook his head, staring bitterly at his lampshade.

"Wow. What a whore." Not having been in that situation, Warren really had no concept of just how easily Mystique could manipulate people, and not having seen Bobby getting seduced by her - because ew, they were friends but not that close - he really didn't know dick about what had happened and the whole argument except what Paige had told him.
"I bet the same kind of thing happened when you didn't find scars on the real Paige?" Even though her being hurt was understandable, since she was, as previously mentioned, real and all.

Bobby sighed, images of her reaction coming unbidden to mind. "Yeah. But then she got pissed. I've never seen her so pissed off."
"In fact...After you leave I'm gonna lock my door. And if you see her brother, tell him I moved to Guatemala, okay?" He could only imagine that Sam was somewhere sharpening a stick to spear his head on after he disemboweled him.
"And...how'd she know? I mean, how'd she know that Paige and I did that?" He meant Mystique, of course. "I don't know how long she was being Paige, but she must have been her before to find out..." With the thought that the Paige he'd made out with countless times before may not have been Paige crossing his mind for the first time, Bobby let his head fall back and made a pained face.

"Well, think about it Bobby, you'd be pissed if you thought she was sleeping with someone else." Warren did his best to play devil's advocate without taking sides. He really didn't want to, regardless of what he thought - he was friends with both of them, and didn't want to see either of them hurting, but at the same time didn't know how to fix things either.
He reached over to squeeze Bobby's shoulder, unsure how to help. "I'm sure she didn't, Bobby, people knew that you and Paige were together. She probably just guessed and hoped she was right - or that you wouldn't mind if Paige came to see you even if you hadn't done it before then, you know?" The last thing he needed was to think that some of their early stuff had been Mystique rather than Paige, and the only way that Warren knew for him to be sure was for the pair of them to compare notes. Which could go either way in being a good thing or a bad thing - he really couldn't be sure.
"It's going to be ok, you guys are going to sort this out."

"Well, think about it Bobby, you'd be pissed if you thought she was sleeping with someone else."
Bobby nodded; Warren was right. He had to see it from Paige's point of view, and she had every right to be angry. In fact, thinking about it from Paige's side of things, everything she'd said had been justified. He'd been thinking only from his point of view, so stuck in what he knew was true that he'd gotten angry when Paige hadn't known it was true as well. But she had no way of knowing it.
He was quiet for some time before he spoke. "Thanks," he said, sounding sincere. "I'm going to go back to sleep, and then...maybe find Paige sometime this afternoon."

"Alright man. Sleep well. You'll be all good." Feeling rather awkward, Warren pulled Bobby to him for one of those manly hugs where you pat the guy on the back really hard and can't actually show that you really do want to hug them cause you've got to be men and be all manly and stuff.
This was why he'd always found it easier having good friends who were girls. At least when you hugged them your sexuality didn't get questioned... Not that he was worried about anyone thinking he was gay, but it had become a habit.
"You know I'm around if you need to talk more." And with that, Angel was gone, leaving Bobby to his thoughts and hopefully to his sleep.
