Candice had been having a VERY bad day. She woke to find out that the new one legged X-Man had been monitoring the systems for log ins, and it turned out that someone had hacked her information, after breaking into her office.
Last night she'd been up with Storm, relaying the information she'd discovered on Phase, so she didn't even get to bed at a decent hour.
Now she just wanted to sleep early, but already the paperwork pile was calling her name. She hoped the Hannah thing was being taken care of, and had to focus on concentrating on her own problems.
Leave the trouble to the X-Men, leave the schooling to her and the teachers.
“Agh!” She grunted, remembering she had to meet the new teacher today – a mutant by the name of Lorna Dane.
She looked at her watch.
“Agh!” again. She should be meeting her right about now.
Concentrating, she turned a portion of her saliva into Iced Caramel Machiatto, amplifying it until she was slowly drinking the delicious mixture in her closed mouth. The Caffeine would be good for her, and she completely savored the taste – opting only to create the delicious beverage during times of high stress.
Slightly more calm, she made her way to the front door. Lorna would be arriving at any minute.
