Dom had observed his room with a certain amount of distaste. It was so incredibly drab and boring and metal. Magneto loved his metal. He sighed, plopping his several bags down on the bed that was as bare – and no doubt as uncomfortable – as the rest. He'd have to go and dig up some blankets and such, and hope to God for a trip soon to the shore. He didn't doubt he could find enough décor to suit his fancy in one of the villages.
What was worse was the lack of a window, even though his little room was on the outer wall. The place was thick, so even if there was a window it'd be set in a ways from the outer layer. Maybe three feet? He considered briefly “putting one in,” by simply disintegrating a certain area, but then a better idea hit him. Leaving his belongings there on the bed, he made the trek outside, exploring along the outer reaches of the compound.
“Oh shit... this is perfect.” There was so much solid rock, Dom could literally put himself a room in where-ever he wanted. It'd be a lot like the opal mines in Australia, which were occasionally used as living places –he'd heard mention of a whole town like that once before.
Of course there was the problem of the door... He broke into a grin. No there wasn't. Not with his power. He'd have a door only he could open, and he could close. How excellent would that be.
Laughing with giddy pleasure, Dom set off to find Pyro and blueprints of this base – he needed to make sure he wasn't going to blast down a wall or anything building his quarters, but given the thickness he seriously doubted it.
