A new morning, back at the island, and after a drunken evening with Pyro, she’d retired to her own room to ruminate over the video records and paperwork they’d retrieved from the Sombra Corporation headquarters in Philadelphia.
A drink in her hand, stretched over her office chair in a pair of white jeans and a matching tanktop, she idly read a security report, yawning to herself.
Somewhere toward mid morning she found herself hungry, and stepped out of her bedroom barefoot, wandering in the direction of the kitchen.

Pyro had been kind enough to let Deadpool and Mercy stay the night... well, it was more like he'd been drunk enough to let them stay the night, but in the end it equaled out to be the same thing. The following morning, they were packed and ready to go. It seemed as if few were awake in the metallic fortress, which considering the time and type they were, didn't surprise the mercenary at all.
He had spent the last twenty minutes in the kitchen, eating a generous breakfast of McDonald's food (somehow the BH had managed to get crates of the stuff) with Mercy, and told her to pack them a lunch of the stuff as well. Then he realized he'd forgotten his toothbrush back in their room (what are the odds) and decided he'd go grab it so they could leave.
Not fifteen feet out of the door and down the hall, though, did pure beauty step into his path. Call it luck... call it fate... call it serendipity... whatever you wanted to call it, the woman of Wade's dreams was there, in the blue flesh, and so was he.
“Holy shit!” Deadpool said with a grin. “Blue! When the hell did you get back?”

Mercy was finishing off her Egg McMuffin with one hand as she shovelled a few sandwiches into a bag for lunch. How the crates of McDonalds food had got to Genosha was beyond Mercy. But then again, ole boy (meaning Gill) probably knew Ronald McDonald himself. Gill knew everybody.
She heard Deadpool speaking out in the hall, seeming to exclaim something, but she didn't pay much attention to it. Probably just one of the Brotherhood had finally woken up. Mercy had bitched and complained for half an hour before Wade could get her out of bed - with a 'profession' like hers, which only happened when the street corners were dark, she'd always had the luxury of sleeping in. It was one of the few luxuries she'd had.
