Top Ten People in History Who Were Probably Mutants

Final Exam Project for U.S. & Global 3
10. Harry Houdini – Manipulation of limbs, most likely rooted in the ability to dislocate his limbs and/or bend his bones like rubber. It really is the only way to explain his crazy escape acts. Most likely also enhanced durability, to be able to sit in cramped spaces for long periods of times.
9. Rapunzel - Incredibly strong hair, able to grow quickly without growing brittle. Her hair was so strong, in fact, that upon being locked in a high tower, she was able to let down her hair and allow a prince to climb up it. Most likely had high tolerance for pain, at least in the scalp region.
8. Santa Clause – Possesses many powers; probably a class five mutant. The ability to manipulate his body mass, used most often to enter homes through the chimney. Most likely some form of telepathy, in order to be able to know the wishes of little boys and girls, and also to be able to control the elves who make the toys.
Not to mention super speed and/or the ability to manipulate time, as he delivers to children all over the globe in one night. Also possesses the ability to fly, and to cause other things to fly with him. Possibly some kind of control over animals, as well (at least of reindeer). Extremely lengthened life.
7. Bob Marley – With an ability that can probably be traced back to his mid-teens, Marley was able to inhale oxygen and exhale not CO2, but marijuana. Because of this, he lived nearly his entire life completely high off his…you get the point.
6. Jubilee – A little-known secondary mutation of the well-known mutant is that since birth, she has possessed the uncanny ability to remain stuck in time. As the world moves on around her, her fashion sense and vocabulary haven’t changed since the early nineties.
5. Tooth Fairy – When her mutation developed, she grew little blue wings and her hair turned blue. She most likely has the power of teleportation as well as flight, as she is able to get into and out of modern homes without setting off alarms.
Whether it is a part of her mutation, or a power given to her by the ‘magic’ wand she wields, she has the power to turn one object into another (she specializes in turning one’s teeth into coins of monetary value).
4. Helen Keller - Born without the ability to see, hear, or speak. Mutations aren't always a good thing. It is debatable whether or not she had a secondary mutation which contributed to her ability to learn sign language despite the fact that it was an unknown practice.
3. Pamela Anderson – Possesses the ability to allow parts of her anatomy to grow exponentially, and defy gravity.
2. Bigfoot – When his mutation became active, this mountain-dwelling young man grew into an eight-foot-tall creature covered in fur. As he is said by some accounts to be brown, and some to be white, it is possible that he, like many animals, changes fur color in winter to blend in to his surroundings. His powers undoubtedly include enhanced strength and extra-sensitive senses. Untrained, the creature lives in mountainous wilderness, most likely a feral creature more than a man.
All in all, very similar to Dr. Hank McCoy, aka ‘The Beast’.
1. Jesus Christ - Possibly the most famous mutant of all time, and also the most widely accepted. All evidence tells us that he was a class five mutant, and he is the first account of mutant powers manifesting so far in the past, as mutated genes did not begin to pop up until much, much later.
Numerous written accounts tell of his incredible ability first and foremost to raise people from the dead, returning their life to their body. He also demonstrated the power to either multiply objects or to create objects from thin air, as recorded in one instance, when he fed hundreds with a fish and a loaf of bread. Also possessed hydrokinesis, and was able to walk on water.
Christ, codenamed among other things ‘Saviour’, ‘Redeemer’, ‘Shepherd’, and the ‘Son of God’, was not the only mutant recorded so far back in time. Other religious figures in the Bible alone who must have been mutants include Moses, who clearly had the power of hydrokinesis, and Noah, who possessed the ability to control animals.
