Appearance: Betsy was born a white British mutant, she didn’t grow up that way, having had many transitions in both her appearance and her mutant abilities. At one point she even dyed her hair purple, which helped her a great deal, and it is now at traditional look for her.
With a naturally slim physique, Psylocke may look rather scrawny and weak, she is anything but. Her looks may deceive, but this girl can certainly pack a punch. She is not all that tall, only coming to 5’3” and weighing nearly 100 pounds. While she was younger her eyes were of a color resembling that of violet, but as she transformed her eyes turned more blue, taking on a more slitted version of almond.
Personality: Betsy is a very emotional person, while she is naturally sweet and kind natured, she has her moments and her opinions on what she thinks is right, and what she thinks is wrong. Where in lies her justice, most are unsure, as for now she is affiliated with Magneto and the Brotherhood, though this hasn’t been long from her betrayal of the X-Men as a result of her opinions on the cure, which lie in comparison to Magneto’s. Only time will tell where her true affiliation lies.
Betsy as most would assume is very close with her twin brother Brian Braddock, better known as Captain Britain. The two have a unique bond which has grown over the years. Though the two haven’t seen much of each other in the past few months, or prior to her joining Magneto, as her brother doesn’t see eye to eye with her on her decision. Refusing to see or talk to her about it, leaving her sad and somewhat anger at her brother and his stubborn ways.
As she’s a very emotional girl, sometimes she gets a little out of hand when it comes to how she feels. Almost as if she’s being bombarded with all kinds of different feelings, and doesn’t know how to react. Mostly with feelings of intimacy, or something that involves someone she cares about deeply. Though one tendency she has, that she somewhat wishes she didn’t have the habit of not being able to think things through, or shooting her mouth off. This is usually getting her into all kinds of trouble, whether it is with friends or enemies.
Powers and Abilities: Betsy has gone through numerous changes when it comes to her powers. Psylocke is a Telepath, being able to mentally communicate with other’s through her mind as well as project illusions into the minds of other’s and throw blasts of telepathic energy that were powerful enough to kill a person, yet could be thrown subtle enough to knock someone unconscious. When fighting in battle, she usually kept her distance as she didn’t have good close combat skills.
She eventually started fighting in close combat with the “Psychic knife”, the knife being derived from her strong telepathic abilities. Eventually she gained the ability to melt or vanish into shadows. She used this as some sort of transportation power and could cover long distances, for instance halfway across the planet. She now has the ability to turn into shadow and also create psi-blades.
Weaknesses: Betsy can often consider her own brother a weakness. It isn’t known how there relationship is to this day. Her own abilities remain a weakness to her as well, as she has yet to learn to fully control her ability to teleport herself and often others in the shadows.

She is known as the twin sister of Brian Braddock. Until the age of 12, Betsy lived a life that was very privileged. But at 12 this changed, when her powers, then limited in the form of telepathy began to appear.
Around the age of 14 through 16 she went through a completely different change. At this time she gained pull control over her telepathic powers. At the age of 17, a year after her change, she dyed her hair purple, and this has remained a traditional look for her. For another year she continued to live in England, almost successfully completing her schooling. But at the age of 18, her full abilities began to show. Her mother fearing what would happen was referred to Charles Xavier by a friend.
For Xavier to say the least, Betsy was a very interesting case. He offered to help her learn to control her abilities, and Betsy accepted. Her mother sent her to the United States. But upon arriving, she realized that the Brotherhood, as she later came to know them was also after her.
She was caught in the midst of the fight between the X-Men and the Brotherhood. After this she decided to remain at Xaviers and learn to control her powers more. Most of her time nevertheless, was spent in both Florida and England, though no one truly knows why. Recently, however, she revealed that a year earlier her mother and father had died mysteriously. She returned briefly for the battle at Alkai Lake before she returned to the Brotherhood hideout with the rest. Still, she instead spent most of her time with her brother in Florida.
In spite of this, she soon betrayed them, not willing to accept their own thoughts of the cure and she joined Magneto in his cause for the cure. She then returned for the Last Stand, and in the end of the fight, after Magneto lost his powers, though she truly wanted to leave with Sekhmet, followed Pyro back to Genosha. During her free time, however, she returned to Florida to be with her brother. It is truly not known if her affiliation lies with the Brotherhood.
Sample post: Elisabeth glanced briefly over her shoulder at the members of the Brotherhood behind her. It appeared that Pyro was still working on actually finding more members. Her attention was briefly diverted towards Sekhmet. Shaking her head she barely caught sight of the few blasts sent her own way as it was.
As she concentrated her telekinetic energy, she formed her katana, which she used since when she received her telekinetic powers. Just as the katana formed she moved almost swiftly. She inwardly sighed, when she noticed that a few of the X-Men were still fighting the Brotherhood.
This was something she would very much rather not be in the middle of, not that she could change that. Inwardly cursing slightly, she focused all of her energy, to reform the katana, before she struck. It was something, which not even it appeared, Magneto had seen coming.
